Tribe Cheer was established 20 years ago with a mission in mind. It began with a desire to cheer, a passion for ministering youth, a friendship, and a long car ride that ended with the name Tribe. In 2001 a buyout and a merger of Spirit Station and Showtime All-stars in Moore truly began Tribe.
The name Tribe was brought on by the desire to not only begin a successful gym that represented the history and pride in Oklahoma but one that represented a important factor in how we would handle our business and athletes... family. Tribe by definition means family. All of our teams have individual names under the Tribe name such as Braves or Chiefs. Over the years Tribe has grown in success in Cheerleading. We have become one of the dominate forces at this region’s largest nationals NCA. We have been blessed to win 3 NCA titles each of the last 3 years. In most recent years we have swept all divisions at the local ASC Nationals. Tribe has also competed three years in a row now at the Worlds Cheerleading Championships. Our Worlds results include a Silver medal finish out of approx. 44 teams as well as 4th, 5th, and 8th place finishes. Our history is most rich with the friendships that have been built over the years. We have athletes that became college roommates, athletes that have met their future husband or wives, and even parents that meet their future husband or wives in our program. Some of our past athletes have become our current leaders and instructors. So many athletes have taken the skills that they learned in our program and used them to find success in their careers. The list of college cheerleaders and graduates is so numerous that we couldn’t even name them all. Humbly we are proud of our past and excited about you and our future.
